Took a while to proper find them. Pro-tio. They are between the two paths. If you descend and find two donkeys turn right along the not quite paved path until a wider area appears, then up you go and it will be on the left. Or I'd you descend from the not cliff path it is on your right. It's a small island you'll find it! There are two churches + a few monastic ruins + a pretty little cemetery with some newer additions. It makes for a charming blend and shows that despite the rather ruinous appearance of the stone building, the area is still linked with the present time. I really like cemeteries and found this one...

A bit eerie on the day I visited as I was the only person there - or what felt like the whole island. It was raining hard and relatively early. Very well kept considering its location - little restoration work but I’m sure a lot of work is done to keep it at its current state and the grasses at bay. Wonderful slice of many periods of history, well explained once you’re there. My favorite part was the Seven Romans, in the back right. Incredible how long ago people had travelled to the islands - makes me appreciate how difficult getting here...

We electric bicycled around the island of Inis Mór (they prefer cash). If you plan on bicycling, electric is the way to go, as the island is larger than it seems, and if you are late returning, the ships will leave without you. It takes a while to get to The Seven Churches, and iit is one of the neat things to see on the island. Was a little disturbing having to walk on top of the graves to get around. Many of them were large stone slabs covering the graves and they were all butted up next...

It's just ok, nothing really amazing about it, but that's me you might think it's brilliant, it does have good stone work which is impressive and if you get a tour bus or horse and cart to it they will tell you all about the history which I did, I don't remember seeing a plaque there telling you about the history of the place I might of missed it, if there isn't one there the OPW may get there fingers out and put on up
