Summer Sup & Kayak School — Attraction in County Mayo

We booked a paddleboard lesson with Catherine at Summer's SUP, old head and it was an absolute highlight of the summer. My two boys were completely captivated from start to finish. Catherine was fantastic—super friendly, knowledgeable, and brilliant with the kids. She made them feel confident out on the water and packed the session with tips and encouragement.

The cherry on top? They had a close-up moment with a seal, and Catherine even snapped a few photos that we’ll cherish forever! The boys haven’t stopped talking about it—they’re already begging to go back. If you're looking for a hands-on, memorable outdoor experience, Summer's SUP is a must.

Had an amazing morning on the water. Did a lesson September 2024 with Catherine. The water safety instruction and guidance in how to get on and off the board left me confident to get out on the water. I felt totally safe and in control of the board the entire time I was on the water. Went back in May for my second time out on the board. Visited Old Head for the Friday Evening Social, what a way to finish the week and wind down for the weekend. We had a fantastic evening, great fun, amazing scenery. Catherine our instructor really made sure it was a memorable experience, she encouraged us, gave us great confidence on the water and looked after our every need.
