. Very high class fraternity frequent here. Respectable, refined, educated, non aggressive. Nice , well spoken people. The gardens are beautifully manicured during the summer, that is until the rich kids descend for the Marley Park concerts. Free parking.

However, on the negative side, there can be a lot of screeching brats there sometimes, particularly at the weekends, scampering around annoying everyone, (especially the terrified dogs ), while their air headed young mothers go "aaaahh..." , instead of keeping the wailing rugrats under control.

Nonetheless, a highly recommended & pleasant park, especially in summer. But try avoid the packed weekends.

Enjoy !

This in an excellent place to spend time with the family. The playground rather large, there's plenty of choice, enough for the kids to spent 2 hours without being bored. There's also toilets within the playground and coffee shop just nearby. Besides the main playground you could easily spend half a day in Marlay park, there's a few shops, plenty of green space (ideal for walks) and another (smaller) playground near the south entrance. There's also the Marlay Park Market on weekends. Bus 16 from the city center will drop you just in front of...

Well today it was 3 deg cel pissing rain and a wind that would cut through you for a short cut . Despite the inclement weather we soldiered on let the dog run in the stream, then made it to the dog park & played with other hounds till a lab arrived along my hound doesn't like labs because of a bloke in our estate who has a lab / rotty cross who attacked him ,therefore exit stage left from dog park .we made our way back in the f#xking rain and wind to the sanctuary of our car . Despite all these wows I'd highly recommend Marlay park...

Excellent playground for all ages. My little man is one and loved the sand pit. There is areas for sitting and plenty of places to have a picnic. There are toilets but like most public toilets they are not the best but will do. The park is well kept and clean.

The first time I came to this park, I lost my car keys. After an hour of searching, I finally found it in the grass. I was super lucky... Anyway, this is a great park, and there is also a playground for children

Great scenery, spacious, clean, serene great place for a walk and a good playing ground for children. Good access to transportation facilities. M50 is close by for those who are driving.
