There's a car park with a great coffee place, lots of flat grassy surfaces for walking, training, cycling or playing sports. The vegetation is impressive and there are well-maintained flower beds throughout. A pedestrian bridge takes you across the DART tracks, where the park continues, stretching until the cliff, and from there you can access the stoney beach. There are a few playgrounds there side by side near the road . These are good as they cater for both the very young kids and older more experienced climbers. It never feels crowded which is nice. Speaking from experience beware of some rough kids around the area who look to steal unlocked items....
