It is just beautiful.❤️⛰️🌊 The walk from Ballyandreen bay and Ballycotton is a good 7.4 km and the cliff is 178m high from see level. If you also want to visit the shipwreck, the bast to park the car is at Ballyandreen bay, so it is close to it. The wreck is on the right side. You should follow the road up the hill just before the car park to the right. After 3 min walk you can spot the sign to ship. Personal suggestion to have long clothing, so thw narrow path full of blackberry and nettie. Watch your steps because most of the time you are 1 meter away from the edge. This is why it is not recommended to kids. We walked almost all the wayto the ship, but the last stage, where you need to climb under he barbed wire, seemto be extremely dangerous. But from there, the view is also good. After that we walked along the cliff all to Ballycotton and than back to the carpark again. It is a pleasant 16 km walk. On the way there are 2 strands. One has concrete steps, to the other you need to crowl down on the grass. On your way you'll see signs of dangerous cliff, please obey. You will find benches you can take a short rest, and ejoy the view, or just watch the birds. Can take lot of pictures, worth to walk all the way. Safe walk, enjoy. Somettimes it can get really windy, so a hoodie is a good idea. After rain it can be...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of walking the Ballycotton Cliff Walk, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. Not suitable for cyclists or wheelchairs since there are some sharp turns separated by brick walls makes it only one person to walk at a time. Bring your picnic mat and food if it’s sunny. It’s worth it. The path, winding along the rugged coastline of County Cork, offered stunning views of the ocean that stretched to the horizon. The fresh sea breeze and the sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs provided a sense of serenity that's hard to find elsewhere.
The trail itself was well-maintained and clearly marked, making it easy to navigate. It's a moderate walk that's suitable for most people, though I'd advise keeping an eye on little ones as there are some steep edges. Along the way, I spotted a variety of seabirds, adding a touch of wildlife to the...
