Front Strand Beach — Attraction in The Municipal District of East Cork

The front strand beach is lovely but i noticed there are only a few litter bins For people to dispose of litter. I counted only 3 litter bins wich is no way Enough for 200/300 people or more who Would be there on a sunny weekend. There should be at least 10 litter bins On both sides of the low wall (20 in total) To cater for the large number of people. We had children with us and we found The few bins there stuffed. Also there should be lots of signs telling People to dispose of their rubbish in The bins or take it home. These signs should be high.profile and Many of them to let people see you are Serious about this.it is...

A fab beach long and sandy with some small pebbles. The sea was calm and clear the day I was here.

A long boardwalk (2.84km) to Redbarn beach. Parking at various spots.

Three separate lifeguard stations (that I saw).

Various food and coffee trucks at various points along the beach.

There are public toilets here too.

There is a Quality Inn Hotel down at the Redbarn end of beach.

The strand is very close to Yaughal Town proper, there is also a pub quite close to...
