Perks Family Entertainment & Indoor Funfair — Attraction in The Municipal District of East Cork

We went there thinking it would be a great, safe and fun place. It was fun for the first minute and it was massive, but then this teenager and presumably his little brother came up to us and started saying "My brother wants to ask you something, no, he does, no, he does." (Basically harassing us) And no staff were aware of these people probably harassing other people.

We then played a few games but they came up to us again. The teen started spraying water on us. We had enough and gave out to them. We said we were going to leave, so we went to the reception (I can't remember what it was) and we told staff that these two kids were harassing us and we gave the staff our tickets that we won, and they did absolutely NOTHING ABOUT IT! (Not as far as we could see)

We then left, got into our car, but it turned out that they followed us out of the building! We were hoping they didn't see us in the car, but they did...

I won't even describe what happened next, all I want you to know is that this story is not fake.

After a hard days work I wasn’t looking forward to a children’s party of 12 seven year olds. From the moment we stepped into perks it was absolutely effortless. The lovely girl at reception desk was super efficient. (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name) she took the food order & having a few dietary requirements it was handled with “no problem whatsoever” & even managed to conceal the different order from the other kids. Another lovely young lady Emma, looked after our every need. She was super patient with the kids & they absolutely loved her. The adults sat peacefully with a delicious burger, a lovely Costa coffee & a chat, didn’t have to lift a finger. After almost 3 hours of fun we packed up & went home to a clean house. (Another bonus) Perks covered everything, from food, drinks, birthday cake, party bags & even a gift for the birthday girl. I highly recommend perks parties & they cater for all ages. It's good, typical amusement centre really, arcade prices are cheaper than others similar places like Tramore etc .. This is good when 2 or more kids with you, although still seemed like my money disappeared within minutes....but, don't go there if you expect any different. Great range of gaming machines, plenty of choice for any kind, young or old I reckon. Great diner there too which serve nice proper food which surprised me to be honest considering it's an amusement place but was as good if not better than any other chipper around. All staff throughout seemed very friendly and helpful when asked anything. Toilets were clean and usable too which is a bonus these days in some places.

I would recommend it to anyone with kids looking to pass a couple of hours or more and have food sorted too.
