The Boyne Greenway — Attraction in The Municipal District of Laytown — Bettystown

Really REALLY nice Greenway, a total highlight for Drogheda town as you can(if you wanted) follow the path the whole way to Slane if you really wanted to (it would be incredible if the council could deliver on making the path official via infrastructure(a proper pathway, paved, bicycle path etc) nevermind possibly fixing the canal and making it functional again) although I didn't walk as far as Slane but only to the battle of the Boyne valley heritage...

An unexpected find, to walk along an ancient river passing under a modern motorway bridge and appreciate the enormity of an engineering project.
