Subway — Restaurant in The Borough District of Drogheda

Twice I’ve been here and twice let down by poor customer service.

Last week we arrived and stood in quite a small queue for a prolonged period of time as we watched the two servers drop hot subs into the cold salad section and overall what seemed like genuine confusion as to what their job was.

They walked around in circles confused as to what was next on their to do list?

On my second visit, I arrived this morning and told the girl behind the counter I had a voucher for a sub and drink and asked if that went for any drink? She proceeded to say yes. I picked up a bottle of coke and went to pay.

She told me the voucher isn’t valid? I showed it to her, she then called 2 other females over who couldn’t figure out what to do either. One of them eventually figured out it was a cup drink and not a bottle drink that applied.

Had no problem changing it but then was given a cup with no lid and no straw which I then also had to ask for.

Not a smile cracked, not an apology, just poor customer service, these staff members do not want to be there.

I enjoy subway but these workers really let the place down, the worst subway I’ve ever...

Today 11 Nov 6.20pm we were refused service at this branch. One of the ladies was washing the floors and the other appeared to be cleaning up the counter area. When we pointed out the opening hours were supposed to be until 7.00pm, they did not deny it but instead said they had sold out of food. We found it hard to believe, as all the sections at the counter with the meats, vegetables and sauces were entirely empty and considering the number of ingredients at Subway it is unlikely that they could have run out of all of them simultaneously. Surely there was enough leftovers in the back room to make us a sandwich. A luckier couple was still there eating, so clearly there had been enough food ten minutes before. Hopefully the management is reading this and will inquire why the employees were effectively closing 40 minutes early; we were left...

I love Subway, it the Go-To Lunch for any occasion with great food and service however this particular Subway lately after Christmas has be low on everything from Bread, Dessert and Snacks.

Every time I go, they always run out of certain breads and treats way too early in the day particularly by noonday. Any other Subway would still have available foods an hour before closing

NOT EARLY IN THE DAY!

They don’t restock and the service isn’t friendly. And really want to see some changes in service and stock because I am sick and tired of going to subway at 12 or 1 and the staff telling me on a quiet day “Sorry we’re out of that” or seeing empty cookie...
