It's like Nuremburg but better. If it was up to me attendance at Tynwald Day would be mandatory, and any absences would be noted and punished via internment at The Cronk. There should be millions of fellow Manx patriots gathered to witness the gregarious celebrations of the Governor and Governess. However, when me and my companion visited several weeks ago, half of the grandstand was vacant. My friend also got death rayed by Icarus. There needs to be Roman style awnings to protect fellow Mann.
I must stress, my most significant grievance relates to the absence of a 38 metre obeslisk atop the neighbouring Slieau Whallian hill. The Governess needs to pledge to erect this urgent need for the national rejuvenation.
Oh yes and the Church needs bigger bells and an enlarged steeple, similar to the one in Edinburgh. Also, Grayham the plague giver has an expert touch on the sally for next years occasion.
