Went to Taste of Italy which is in the Inn, because of a nice person answered the telephone, which gave a very good first impression. When we arrived, we were greeted and shown to a table which was free and we ordered drinks as we we seated. I went to the Disabled toilet, as I always check the cleanliness out before we decide to stay or not. The staff came and showed us the menu and helped us to see which meals we might like. My wife had Tuscan Chicken with vegs and I had Salsa dela Louisianna. We both agreed the meals were great and the layers of taste was wonderful, probably the best meal we've had on IOM in over 20 years.    Read moreWell I didn't get a chance to eat or drink here, as I ended up leaving before ordering due to the nasty and rude blonde woman behind the bar. Ambience wise, if listening to other patrons blasting videos from their phone while you eat is your idea of a good time, then this is the place for you. A real shame as a tourist to be met with that sort of welcome, but even more a shame that the locals have to put up with this, as it seems like it's the only pub in St John's. Although thankfully there are other places to eat where you're not met with quite so much venom for simply walking through the door. Perhaps invest in some staff training...
