Nice place with a lot of things to see and do. But the instructors at the atomic reactor and planetarium where horrible: Never did I witness instructors with such a low knowledge, low drive and even language problems. Their explanations were below general knowledge, completly simplistic and boring. A place like this - that wants to kindle the interest of kids in science - cannot employ such completly uninspiring and unlearned instructors. In general most rooms and attractions were usually not easy and simple to understand and were lacking explanations or staff that helps and explains. Many things we did not do - that looked quite interesting - since we did not know how to operate them or switch them on. Last issue about the main entrance: Instead of giving the beautiful historic building an honorable entrance from its frontal facade dtraight to the street and to the bus station accessible at sidewalk level, there are high ugly fences and pedestrians need to circumvent the whole compound by a long trail to an ugly side entrance through a parking lot and staircases. Completely unneccessary, damaging, not respecting people (especially pedestrians) and worsen...

This park exhibits offers the visitor interactive activities. It covers a large variety of scientific subjects. The park includes historic buildings - the school for Bedouin children built at the Ottoman ruling period, a building dating the British Mandate , along with classes used during many years as "Masada" Elementary School ( First Hebrew school in Beer Sheva). Additional 5,000 sq meters were excavated below ground. It was first built in 1914 as an agricultural school for Bedouin Children , but at the outbreak of WW1 The Ottoman government converted it into a Red Crescent hospital serving the Ottoman army. At the end of WW1 and the occupation of Beersheba by the British Mandate forces in Israel, the building was used as a school for Bedouin children, and it served its purpose for about 30 years. From 1949 until 1979, it was used as “Bait Hachayal” (Hebrew for Soldiers Hostel). Later on it was deserted until the establishment of Carasso Science Park. One more historical fact: It was here that the Armistice agreement between Israel and Egypt were signed at the end of the Israeli...

Wonderful Science park, Amazing for teenagers, not just for kids. We visited the park with 8 & 14 yrs old, The crew was so nice, the activities so interesting. Some of the activities cost a few extra ~10 shekels each, and they require booking ahead, in their website (recommended) or upon arrival at the entrance (but the activity.may be full booked, by then). Onsite there were another 2 activities for those who arrived early (inscription for free, only onsite, upon arrival). Overall, all the exhibitions we visited, worked, nothing looked "old' (as reported by a person here) Wonderful science park, we will visit again soon, because within 6 hours, 3 extra activities (3D print, Movie motion & ice cream), & incl. Lunch break ouside the park (in the city center)... there is a lot more to...

It's a bit expensive to get in. Over 100 Shekels for 2 people. It was really hot outside but the dragon exhibition was nice then we got in to the buildings and it was very interesting you can interact with almost everything and the explanations are very good. We were there for about an hour and a half and we couldn't finish it all. The nice part was that I found out was that if I leave the museum I can come back later on without paying again but its for the same day only.

Great place for kids (and big kids like myself)! Took my cousins here and they just loved it. Made for a really great day! You could do most of the museum in about two or three hours. The outside exhibits were really interactive and fun (and also a great place to sit and eat lunch). We also really enjoyed the life-sized woolly mammoth and other ice-age era sculptures! The main building was cool too explore just from a historical/architecture point alone. Would recommend!
