Beautiful aquarium! Definitely one of the worlds best! The price here is high, but its worth every penny. There are lots of sections in the area. There‘s the turtle area, where there are enormous turtles, which you can see being fed in a cool show. There‘s the shark aquarium with lots of sharks, stingrays and other fish. Make sure to read the info signs there, I learned a lot aboit sharks there. There’s the Pearl „sanctuary“, where you can see the shells being opened in a special show. You can also take a gamble for 20€ and open up a shell yourself. Then, you’re allowed to keep all the pearls that you‘ve found. The Rare Fish aquarium boasts a large number of different fish and corals, which are all very rare. A mesmerizing experience! There’s the Red Sea Reef, where you can see, what a reef in the Red Sea looks like. There’s the Cinema, where there‘s a, in my oppinion, very interesting film (can’t understand why there’s so much hate about it in the reviews). The seats also move around there. Next to it, there‘s a pool, where you can feed and touch some Koi. But the absolute highlight is the oceanarium. You can go either up or down there. If you go up, you‘re going to be met with a view of Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi-Arabia (only with good visibility) on the height of 23m. But if you go down, you can see the natural coral reef with all of its corals and fish in their natural habitat at the depth of 6m. There‘s a new part (where you go down) with a young reef and an old part (with the emergeny exit), where there’s an old reef. In my oppinion the tickets to the glass boat Coral 2000 aren‘t worth it, although I didn’t try it. All in all, me, as a diver, still had lots of fun, learned a lot and seen things here, which I haven’t seen...

Read moreWe spent the whole day, ~7 hours, so there's lots to do there. I won't give it a 5 star since some things definitely need more love. We saw all the exhibits, there's really a good wide variety and selection of sea creatures, most endemic to Eilat. The highlight must be the shark tank, it has multiple viewing windows, plenty of room, probably the nicest tank I've seen. They feed them twice daily - go to the second feeding! (3pm) it far less crowded. There's a tube to walk under the fish and rays, beautiful. There are also turtles and "rare creatures" (which we didn't find very "rare"). The "deep sea creatures" exhibit is only videos. The lowest point must be the "IMAX", the movie is short, although the 3D effect is cool (kids loved it), but the narration (Heb only) is unintelligible, the content is boring, and they play a "generic" 3D flick. The underwater structure is very nice, but many windows are way too high for a 3-4 y/o to see anything without carrying them 💪, still it's very worth the while (climb up to see the overlook). It's a good place to spend a few hours, it doesn't break the bank, and kids...
