The Quiet Beach — Attraction in Haifa

For western tourists: Please mind that men and women cannot access this beach on the same weekdays. You have to carefully consider the schedule (men: Mo/We/Fr; women: Su/Tu/Th; 8-18h each). After entering via a short security control, you arrive at his rather narrow beach, which is ok and mostly clean, but certainly not beautiful. Behind it, there is a huge military base with a barbed wire fence, walls and many warning signs. To me, this was a more depressing than relaxing beach experience. There is quite a bit jellyfish, but they're not harmful....
