Sidna Ali Mosque — Attraction in Herzliya

Active mosque and school on the beach of Herzliya. Contains the tomb of a saint from the early 1000’s. The location is in the area of Arsuf where Richard the Lionhearted (Richard the 1st) fought the Crusaders. There are a number of impressive archeological sites in the area, but the church and graves associated with the former K8ng of England have yet to be found. مسجد سيدنا علي هو مسجد في مدينه هرتسيليا وتقام الصلاة فيه وخاصة صلاة الجمعة . يوجد في المكان مقاعد للاستراحه وقبر سيدنا علي . مسجد سيدنا علي  هو مسجد قرية الحرم او قريه علي المهجرة المقام اليوم فوقها مدينة هرتسيليا الإسرائيلية. بني هذا المسجد في القرن الخامس هجري  تكريمًا لولي الله علي بن عليل المعروف بابن عليم، حفيد عمر بن الخطاب ، ويقع هذا المسجد على شاطئ البحر الابيض المتوسط ، في قرية علي أو قرية الحرم، التي هجر أهلها عام1948.

علي بن عليل المعروف بابن عليم، هو من الأولياء المشهورين بأرض فلسطين، يعود نسبه إلى الخليفة الراشدي الثاني عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه، فهو جده السابع والده عليل بن محمد بن يوسف بن يعقوب بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن أمير المؤمنين عمر بن الخطاب ، توفي عام 474 هجري ،أي في نهاية حكم السلاجقة في بلاد الشام وكان عمره 47 سنة...
