Cute spot near the water. Had a nice outdoor seating space, along with an indoor space that’s surrounded by large windows (and therefore feels kinda like it’s still outdoors). Sadly not all non-smoking and the big windows mean you might smell smoke even while seated inside. Was also frustrated since people were smoking even in the non-smoking outdoor space and the restaurant staff didn’t stop them (and they were just on the other side of the window we sat by, so we had to close it to avoid being in their giant smoke cloud).
We all got the breakfast platter. The various salads were good and the focaccia was delicious. Coffee arrived a bit lukewarm, so that was a bit disappointing.
Would return if ever someone I was with wanted to go, but would probably opt for a table farther from the windows by the smoking area so as to avoid the second hand smoke (at least, insofar as we could since they didn’t stop smoking in even the...
Read moreHave been having a coffee there for the last couple of months every Sunday morning. this morning we had breakfast. Excellent food and service. Bread fresh as was the salad and everything else was very tasty. Definitely recommended. We'll be back, as usual, next Sunday, all being well!!
Update: This morning 18 August, we again had our coffee after a walk. The young lady pictured served us as if she was the owner! Really happy when I told her the place got a five 🌟 rating from us! Fully deserved! When she brought us our change, she added a couple of pastries. Loved the gesture! Great PR! Well done Yankale's!!
