Mind blowing! A real eye opener (pun intended)! You come out and all you're thinking is how thankful you are and how grateful you have to be from the fact that you can see. You go in there for about an hour in pitch black rooms which your eyes never adjust to (they only adjust if there's a bit of light coming through). The guide is blind and directs you around his world. You keep one hand on the wall and one hand in front of you as you move along. At the end of the tour you end up in a snack room where you can buy snacks and drinks with only small bills or coins (they can give you change by the front counter before entering the tour). I was nervous at first that I might get claustrophobic, but I pushed through and was pleasantly rewarded with a once in a lifetime experience. I should stress the minimum age limit of 9 is there for a reason and I can see why it's necessary. You spend 1 hr and 15 minutes in pitch black darkness and that can be unnerving for an adult, even more so for a young child.
