This is not a museum, you need to purchase tickets in advance. It is also not ideal for families with younger children (under 8). We showed up expecting to walk in and were told it was closed (I think they meant to say full for the day). So the cashier told us we could buy any tour for their ages but if my children didn’t like it, they would not refund. We had heard wonderful things about Dialog in the Dark so purchased tickets for this. When we showed up we were asked to leave as my children were too young and refused a refund because “since you don’t speak Hebrew, it’s not our fault we didn’t understand you”. So 2 visits to the museum and we still didn’t see anything and I was refused a refund. Terrible. Thankfully the rest of Israel has been amazing, but this was a terrible mark on our time here. In the States, when a Children’s museum says “ideal for children 9 and above” there is more flexibility and kind of leaves it up to the parents to decide if their child is going to have fun or not. So it’s ok if an 8 yr old wants to participate. Also there is generally no restriction for certain ages because if a family has children spanding different age groups, it can be a challenge. Here there is no flexibility. The age is the age. So my sense is this is better as an addendum to school groups and not idea for tourist or parents home with their children. We’ve been in Israel for a month and have enjoyed everything else but...
Read moreFor kids of all ages, there's something for everyone, younger kids can enjoy a guided tour to the world of butterflies, while the oldef kids can experience for themselves what it means to be blind or deaf. Most importantly it's all done in a fun interactive way and is adjusted to the kids age. Make sure you register for the activities and buy tickets well in advance, especially if planning on coming during holiday and school vacation days. The adjoining mall with lots of restaurants and caffe, including an ice-skating ring and paddling lake make this place a...
Read moreGreat, unique workshops for kids, for each age range there's a different coarse. Great place to take the kids - innovative, immersive, and interactive. They have "paths" with different themes for various age groups, including adults. The experiences are extensive, (2 hours the beatles one), so don't expect action all the time, but you and the kids will have great moments. Great opportunity to understand how a blind person feels. Really have an appreciation for what they go through. Dialogue in the dark is an amazing experience....
