If you're going to Modiin I think Anaba park is one of the places you have to visit. The park has a big playground for children and statues of dinosaurs laid around the park with information plaques adjacent to them. The park is also perfect if you wish to go on a stroll while looking at the ducks in the lake. In addition there is a small kiosk next to the lake where you can get something to eat or drink, although I have never tried it myself so I can't vouch for how good it is. The park is mostly clean though that depends on the time you arrive and how many people are at the park. If you're reading this please make an effort not to litter, it hurts the wildlife and the enjoyment others can get...

Great park. Lots of places to sit, on grass under trees with shade, or many picnic tables under tarps with shade as well. Beautiful park. Great to spend the day or afternoon there with family and friends. Bring food and beers.

the one bad thing is, that there is only one kiosk/mahkolet there and they told me it only opens in the summer time. So no place to buy food, snacks, drinks, beer, etc. over there, Need to bring your own.

Also access to the paddle boats on the pond there, only operates in the summertime. May or June. I went there yesterday (27.4.22) and that's what some people working there told me. Funny, they couldn't give me exact day that the kiosk and paddle...
