תנדי — Restaurant in Modiin-Maccabim-Reut

Nice new place in the Modiin "Ramblas". And the best part, it is not past of a chain but a local business. The place was packed on Friday morning and as a result the waitering was a bit slow. We started with a focaccia which was good but the dough could have been a bit more crushy on the outside. The roman bruschetta as it is called was great. A lot a good stuff on the top, cooked eggs, oignons, tomatoes, glazed garlic, parsley... a great combinaison and it looked great to. Finally the stuffed mushroom with cheese. Not the best. The sauce was to runny and the cheese had no taste. The mushrooms were nicely cooked and tender All together I enjoyed the food and the place. In any case a restaurant to support...

Tasty food and beautiful presentation — it’s a pleasure to eat here. I recommend the croissant with salted red fish and eggs. The shakshuka is also very good. They serve late breakfasts, which is a nice bonus. I really like the taste of the food — that’s the main thing. The dishes come out very quickly, and the waiters are polite. Overall, the restaurant looks nice, but there are some cleanliness issues: dust, some cloths under the tables, and the bathroom is very dirty, with limescale on the sink. המליצו לנו להגיע והזמנו מקום כשבועיים מראש, וכשהגענו האווירה הייתה נראית מעולה, מוסיקה, אוכל שנראה טעים וכו׳. משם הכל הלך והדרדר. הושיבו אותנו בין מקרר שתיה פתוח לבין הכניסה (הזמנו לשבת בפנים) כשבקושי היה מקום לזוז. בנוסף היה 7 מעלות בחוץ אז היה קפוא, לא היה סיכוי לאכול בצורה נוחה ככה. ניסינו לבקש שיעבירו אותנו שולחן מכמה מלצרים שונים ובכמה זמנים שונים, ושוב ושוב ושוב התעלמו ממנו ואמרו דברים כמו ״השולחן כבר שמור ספציפית לאנשים״ ו ״זה השולחן שנקבע לכם, סליחה״, ושאולי כששולחן אחר יתקפל אז יוכלו להושיב אותנו במקום אחר. בזמן הזה אנחנו לא מקבלים שירות, לא מזמינים וסתם מחכים בקור ומצטננים. במקביל הבעלים/מנהל עובר עשרות פעמים ומתעלם כל פעם. הדבר נמשך כשעה עד שביקשתי שהבעלים/מנהל יגיע והוא פשוט אמר שאין לו מושג איך לעזור לנו. בעקבות כך החלטנו לקום וללכת לאכול במקום אחר. נסענו מעל שעה על מנת להגיע לתנדי, וב22:30 בערב אנחנו מחליטים מחדש איפה לאכול. למרות שבסך הכל האוכל נראה מעניין, לא הייתי ממליץ לאף אחד ללכת למסעדה כזאת אם הוא רוצה חווית אירוח טובה. שירות מזעזע וקר בכל דרג...
