Begin Park Petting Zoo — Attraction in Tel-Aviv

very good place go with family / friends, especially with kids. there's a mini zoo with Ostrich, deer, turkey, ibex etc. and a lake with water ski. plenty place for BBQ. empty during the week, easy to park. a bit crowed during weekend. there is a large kid playground on the east side of the park near by a large parking lot that always empty. i gave one star less because the locals there don't keep kids playground clean. and often meet motorbike illegally...

Went there with my son. It was a bit cold and rainy that day. At the begining we taught it is bad luck for us, but it become one of the best days to reach this park. Becaus fewer people came to the part the waiting line was short and instead of waiting long time for the next try my son jad the chance to learn skying more often and many time. After three hours my son was tired for more skying and we left home happy...

Didn't do the petting (and not even sure when or if they do as I have been there a few times and haven't seen) but the "zoo' is two simple enclosures with some wildlife to see. Same as you get around the city in other small "zoos", like in HaYarkon. Fun for really small kids but once they are 4 or 5 there isn't...
