Great beach with beautiful views; We paid 12 Euro to park in their shady parking area. We went in early June and the water was chilly but very nice to combat the heat. If you follow the cliff line to the right of the beach there are some small cliff diving areas, ranging from 3ft-25ish feet. The hike to the cliff takes a little less than 10 minutes by foot and takes you through some tight bushes but is part of the adventure; it is a bit slippery at times on the smooth rocks. We brought our own food and drinks, and there is a ice cream cart on the weekends. Also It’s easy to pass the road for parking as you aren’t expecting to need to do a turn away from the beach, then loop through under a tight bridge tunnel, but using google maps we found it no problem.

Paradiso o incubo?! 📍Raggiungibile facilmente tramite lo svincolo autostradale di Cassibile si trova all'interno di un terreno privato dove sarà possibile parcheggiare e usufruire di alcuni scarsi servizi. 👍✅ Il mare è l'ennesima perla delle coste siciliane e siracusane con acqua azzurra ed incontaminata. La battigia è lunga circa mezzo chilometro e larga poco meno di 4 metri con sabbia dorata. All'ingresso viene fornito un sacchetto per l'immondizia. È possibile parcheggiare sotto i numerosi alberi. 👎❌ Si accede tramite una malconcia stradella sterrata a senso unico e viene richiesto un prezzo all'ingresso per ogni auto/moto (20€/5€) che transita. Prezzo esorbitante per quel che viene realmente offerto, nonostante avessimo il cartellino di invalidità per il parcheggio con la quale in ogni parcheggio è possibile sostare gratuitamente ci è stato fatto a stento uno sconto di 5€ sui 20€ richiesti. Le auto non sono custodite, all'uscita non c'era nemmeno l'ombra del personale che ci ha fatto pagare. I servizi quali bar, wc e spogliatoi sono alquanto scadenti e fatiscenti. ❌N.B.❌La gestione della spiaggia ha limiti evidenti. La spiaggia, per la sua conformazione, dovrebbe avere una capienza limitata anche per tutelare in primis la natura. Invece prevale prima di tutto il denaro, con ingresso illimitato. Nei giorni a maggior affluenza non saranno occasioni rare quelle di condividere il telo mare con il vicino o di non poter usufruire dell'ombra del vostro ombrellone perché avrete qualcuno a due centimetri. Una giornata di mare in un paradiso del genere potrebbe presto trasformarsi in un incubo. ⭐⭐Consiglio vivamente una visita nei mesi di giugno o settembre. Da evitare a luglio e agosto.

Уютный и небольшой пляж с прозрачно лазурной водой (в солнечное время, конечно же), скалами, песком и зеленью вокруг. Все что требуется для отличного отдыха с друзьями или же для романтичного - с любимым человеком. Сам пляж найти не так уж и легко, так как во многих путеводителях он отсутствует. Найти пляж можно по дороге на Аволу (где то в 5 км от пляжа Gallina). Если Вы едете из Аволы, то по левую сторону Вы увидите заброшенную старую мельницу и перед ней шлагбаум, так вот перед этим шлагбаумом будет въезд на парковку (ну как парковку, просто ставите машину на обочине. Далее поднимаетесь по протоптанной дорожке, и идете прямо по ней. По сторонах, растут лимоны, цитрусовые, миндаль...красиво. В выходные дни, Вы можете заехать прямо к пляжу на машине (шлагбаум всегда открыт), но тут с Вас потребуют 10 евро за вход. На территории есть туалет, душевые - но в не сезон они не работают. У пляжа не очень широкая береговая линия (особенно когда штормит). Когда море штормит, волны добивают аж за линию песка. Но зато в жаркий солнечный день можно спрятаться в тени деревьев.Дно песчаное, заход в море постепенный (глубина не сразу) - поэтому отлично подходит для деток.А для рисковых и смелых, по правой стороне Вы увидите скалу, так вот туда можно легко зайти: или по скале, или там будет калитка (если открыто, можете заходить - хотя на входе есть табличка Частная собственность). С этих скал можно прыгать, конечно же перед тем оценив свои силы, спокойствие моря и наличие камней.

Senza ombra di dubbio una delle spiagge libere più affascinanti del Siracusano. Quello che più stupisce è il fondale della riva, di un intenso colore turchese - seppur torbido - che stacca nettamente dopo un bagnasciuga di sabbia dorata, capace di mandare in fumo ogni tipo di ragionamento su come sia possibile che l'acqua crei un simile contrasto di colori. Agli estremi, due meraviglie naturalistiche: da un lato, la foce del Cassibile, che regala l'insolita esperienza di immergersi nelle acque di un fiume, proprio in riva al mare; dall'altro, l'inizio di un sentiero costiero (si faccia molta attenzione lungo il percorso) che restituisce bellissime foto della spiaggia, oltre che la vista di una falesia straordinaria. Nota dolente: il parcheggio. La proprietà che insiste subito prima della spiaggia ha creato un giro d'affari inestimabile (ad agosto 2023, venti euro per la sosta giornaliera). Per raggirare questa aggressiva strategia impreditoriale, si eviti di percorrere la strada sterrata che porta alla spiaggia e si continui per qualche metro più avanti. È infatti presente, sul lato destro della statale, l'imbocco di una strada secondaria dove è possibile parcheggiare l'auto gratuitamente, o quasi. Dipende dalla presenza di qualche parcheggiatore abusivo, che sfrutta sapientemente la situazione... Da visitare assolutamente, nonostante l'intesa frequentazione nei mesi estivi.

This is one of my favourite beaches around Avola: the headland at the south end of the beach is a good scramble up to spectacular views of cliffs and sea to the left, flower meadows and the mountains to the right. To the north the river from Cava Grande flows into the sea in a beautiful estuary, and beyond it one can climb up to the second world war gun emplacement and a jagged headland. The beach itself is backed with small trees, and is a fine sweep of sand.

You will not believe what you are seeing, this beach is just amazing, beautiful colours, kept very clean, you will find it quiet and relaxing. If you want to tan this one is perfect for you, otherwise make sure to wear lots of suncream, they offer free showers, you can either decide to pay and get a parking spot next to the beach or park it far and go there for free.

We brought our own food and drinks, and there is a ice cream cart on the weekends. Also It’s easy to pass the road for parking as you aren’t expecting to need to do a turn away from the beach, then loop through under a tight bridge tunnel, but using google maps we found it no problem.
