Casa Emma was the second stop on our wine tour, and also where we had lunch. They had seating both indoor and outdoor, I’d recommend sitting on the patio so you can look at the beautiful view. The only reason I’m writing a review is to let everyone know about the rosé they have here, literally the best rosé I’ve ever had in my entire life. It goes down like water and had a light floral after taste. I loved it so much I bought a case and had it shipped to the Netherlands. Lunch was great, wine was great, location was great. I docked one star because usually they waive the tasting costs if you purchase the wine. Was a case of 12 bottles of overpriced rosé at €24 each not enough to waive the fees? I mean Jesus Christ. Lunch + tasting was €50 per person. Way overpriced, not very friendly to customers who buy cases of wine. Lovely winery, just not sure if it’s worth the high price tag they are demanding.

I had a wine tasting with a very small platter of food at Casa Ema. I tasted 4 types of wine (one white and 3 reds), olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The wine that I liked was the white wine Cortine 2021 - that cost 29 € and the red wine Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Vignalparco 2018 - 39 €. I will say that wine price was too expensive and the taste it is not very special to worth the money. I also was disappointed with the food platter that we received for 8 persons ( just 1 piece of bread and 1 piece of cheese for every person) to taste the olive oil and the balsamic vinegar, picture attached. The two balsamic vinegars that I tested were very tasty and I bought 2 small bottles ( even if it was expensive) because I like it a lot and the taste was amazing and very specific. The winery itself has a nice view, instagrammable, I am sure that it has some potential.

In the perspective of wine from quality and tasting it was quite good. Originally when you visit a winery you see also shortly the stock and production, but the tasting area is abonded from production and you won‘t see it. Further the sips are rather small. My personal thing was also that the truffle oil was very penetrant, which I don’t got along, but just personal thing. Another thing was, that I asked for a sip of an already open bottle, but was declined because its not ment for us. I was intended to get one or two bottles of it, with a price of 98€ per bottle of red wine, but this feedback ruined my wish to get in business. If others make better/other experiences I am happy for you, but in my case its just 2 stars.

My husband and I visited Casa Emma on September 5th, 2020. A visit to Casa Emma was recommended by family and it did not disappoint. Given our visit was Post-COVID, we had an extremely intimate and romantic experience. Whether at full capacity or not, Casa Emma’s size, environment, and customer experience makes the entire vineyard a romantic and intimate setting.

We had a private tour with Francesca, a tasting and a delicious lunch. The primary focus on dietary needs was just the beginning of this experience. My husband is sensitive to dairy and they more than accommodated. Not only did we have a dairy-free entree, but they were kind enough to provide cheeses for me to try since I do not share the sensitivity.

The food was exceptional, the view was amazing, and the customer experience was one that cannot be matched. We’d like to give a huge shoutout to Francesca - she is incredibly kind, informed, and provided the most amazing experience we could have asked for!

We are so grateful we visited Casa Emma and look forward to the day we can return! Until then, we have a bottle of the Reserve aging for our 5th...

Our visit to Casa Emma was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the heart of the Chianti region, the winery offers not only breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside but also a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

The wines were truly outstanding — each one thoughtfully crafted and full of character. From the elegant Chianti Classico to the more complex and bold selections, every sip told a story of tradition, passion, and excellence. One of the highlights of our visit was how knowledgeable our host was — she took the time to educate us on the shelf life of each wine, which added a whole new layer of appreciation to the tasting.

What truly set Casa Emma apart, though, was the setting. Surrounded by rolling vineyards and cypress-lined hills, it’s the kind of place where time slows down and every moment feels special. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just looking for an authentic Tuscan experience, Casa Emma is a must-visit. We’re already dreaming of our...
