Castello della Paneretta — Attraction in Barberino Tavarnelle

My boyfriend and I booked a guided tour including a wine tasting. To our surprise, the tour was private for only the two of us, which made us feel special and cared about as customers. Our guide Caterina made us feel very comfortable throughout our visit, she was very, very kind. She showed us their winery and parts of the private castle and explained a lot about their traditional way of wine making, but also about the history of this beautiful place. The wines we tasted were amazing. We definitely recommend...

Came a day before, door is closed as it just passed biz hours. Saw the sign that they are open for wine tasting.

Next day we visited again, despite middle of business operating hour, they aren't able to accept guest as they already have ONE group doing tour and no way to manage other guest who wants to just come and buy wine. Poorly mamaged business practice for winary... We have bigger disappointment as we were group of 10 and wasted hours...

Our family stayed here in the Castle, it was just the most beautiful experience we ever had, the people we're just wonderful, the owner was unbelievable helpful, and went out of his way to help us, since our luggage we're lost. We miss this place so much, we also had our adult kids, and grand kids age's from 15- 4. EVERYONE WAS WONDERFUL. WE WANT TO GO BACK, THEIR WINE IS UNBELIEVABLE. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THE BEAUTIFUL...
