I don't think I can quite fit into words how wonderful of an experience we had at Castello di Monsanto.
I'm from the United States and planned a destination wedding in the Chianti Region of Toscana. I researched wineries nearby the villa we were going to be staying at, and stumbled upon Castello di Monsanti, by simply just looking on Google maps. I had reached out about a group tour visit for 37 people about 7 months in advance. Our plan was to visit a winery the day before the wedding as an activity for us and our guests.
I got a response almost immediately and diligently coordinated our travels there with Laura and Veronica, for the next 7 months. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Veronica and Maria. They are the sweetest most welcoming people you could ever meet in your life. They split our large group into two and we toured the winery with a spectacular history lesson of the vineyard. After we got to tour the wonderful wine cellars and learn about the history, we had a light snack and wine tasting outside on a beautiful patio and beautiful sunny day. Veronica was who I worked with the most coordinating our time at the vineyard and she was absolutely amazing!! I can't thank her enough for the wonderful tour, her warm welcome and allowing us to come visit such a special place :) Thank you so much for welcoming us to the vineyard and your country, we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We hope to one...
