The most beautifull beach I've ever been to. The most important reason to visit it is due to the fact that the beach is made out of very small quartz pebbles (never seen before). Bonus to this is that they lie very comfortable! As soon as you go into the water there are some pro's and con's. Pro: the water is very clear, the first few meters are not very deep and the sea is full of wildlife. Con's: It's not easy to get out of the water for small kids as your feet will sink into the pebbles. Second, due to the wildlife, after the first few meters of white pebbles the seafloor turn into rocks covered in plants, but most important, these rocks are flooded with hundreds of sea urchins! So be aware! As for facilities: there is a restaurant at the parking (paid, €3,50 for 2h), and there are showers (no cabins). 10 out of 10 I would go back

Wonderful sea colour. Could not give 5 stars because the water was freezing cold. There is a free parking as you approach the beach, on the right side, 5 minutes walking. Be aware to park within the white marks as police officers were giving fines. Arrive early to secure a parking space (anywhere) and a space at the beach. We got there at 8:30am and it was already busy. The beach parking is managed by the Comune of Cabras and it costs €8 per day. But the machine accepts only coins or you need to wait a staff member that looks after the parking to pay him in cash. The beach is free and there is a bar/restaurant. The sand is beautiful but difficult to walk and your feet may hurt. Bring watershoes.

Definitely one of the best beach in the area, the sand is made by white small quartz grains, and it is called by the locals the rice grains Beach. Please do not take ANY sand from the beach. The fine can reach 3.000 € and anybody can be scanned in airports or ports. There could be also volunteers (not evident) checking if anybody steels the sand. The water is usually fresh, attention to the slippery rocks. Better to visit not during the week end to enjoy one of the best beautiful site on the cost of west Sardinia. Top.

La spiaggia di Is Aruttas, situata sulla costa occidentale della Sardegna, è un vero e proprio gioiello naturale. Durante la primavera, questa splendida spiaggia è ancora più affascinante grazie alla sua tranquillità e alla varietà dei colori del mare. Il colore dell'acqua a Is Aruttas è semplicemente spettacolare. Le sfumature di blu e di verde si fondono creando un'armonia perfetta con il bianco delle spiagge e il rosso dei granelli di quarzo che compongono la sabbia. Questi granelli, infatti, conferiscono alla spiaggia un aspetto unico e particolare, che la rende una delle più belle dell'isola. La primavera è un periodo ideale per godere della tranquillità di Is Aruttas. Le spiagge sono ancora poco frequentate, il che permette di godersi il mare e il paesaggio circostante in piena serenità. La tranquillità di questo luogo è perfetta per chi cerca momenti di meditazione e di relax, lontano dallo stress quotidiano. La spiaggia di Is Aruttas offre anche numerose opportunità per gli appassionati di sport acquatici. La bellezza del mare e delle coste circostanti rende questa località un punto di riferimento per gli amanti del windsurf, del kitesurf e del surf. In conclusione, la spiaggia di Is Aruttas durante la primavera è un vero e proprio paradiso terrestre. I colori del mare, la tranquillità e la bellezza del paesaggio rendono questo luogo perfetto per una vacanza all'insegna del relax, della meditazione e dello sport. Un luogo che non si dimentica facilmente e che merita di essere visitato almeno una volta nella vita.

Very nice beach, instead of sand it has small quartz pebbles 1-3mm with a few larger mixed in. Several pay parking lots. We paid 8.5 euros for 6 hours. There was a restaurant and bar that had bathrooms which were free to use. There was a souvenir seller near the bar that we were able to rent a beach umbrella from for 10 euros and he even walked down and found us a spot and planted it for us. The water is fairly calm with small waves, cool and refreshing. It drops off to about 5 feet deep fairly quickly.

Oggi sono stato alla spiaggia di Is Arutas, a Cabras, e sono rimasto incantato. La spiaggia è lunga circa 2 chilometri ed è caratterizzata da una sabbia bianca e fine, simile a quella del riso. Il mare è cristallino e trasparente, con un fondale basso e sabbioso, ideale per nuotare e fare snorkeling. La spiaggia è circondata da dune ricoperte di macchia mediterranea, che le conferiscono un aspetto selvaggio e incontaminato. Sono arrivato alla spiaggia da Torre dei Corsari, percorrendo una strada panoramica che costeggia il mare. Il tragitto dura circa un'ora, ma è assolutamente consigliato per ammirare la bellezza della costa sarda. Sono rimasto molto colpito dalla bellezza di Is Arutas. La spiaggia è davvero una meraviglia della natura, e sono felice di averla scoperta. La consiglio a tutti coloro che cercano un luogo in cui rilassarsi e godersi il mare e la natura. Ecco alcuni consigli per visitare la spiaggia di Is Arutas: La spiaggia è aperta al pubblico gratuitamente. Durante la stagione estiva può essere molto affollata, quindi è consigliabile arrivare presto al mattino o nel tardo pomeriggio. Non è possibile portare cani sulla spiaggia. C'è un bar e un ristorante sulla spiaggia, ma è consigliabile portare con sé cibo e acqua, soprattutto se si visita la spiaggia durante la stagione estiva. Is Arutas è una spiaggia davvero speciale, e sono sicuro che vi piacerà.
