A rather disconcerting experience: we kindly asked for some basic food for a small baby, like boiled potatoes and carrots, and we were told initially that they had no such things, later - when we insisted with the manager, since the waiters had been quite scathing - that it would take the cook too much time to do this, at a busy time…true, you cannot charge too much for mashed potatoes, but we were two adults having lunch there. The owner capped it all off saying that usually parents bring their baby food from home (true, but less easily so when home is 1200 miles away). We ended up leaving without having lunch, so cannot pass judgement on the food itself, but the attitude - clearly profit-driven and devoid of much empathy - was unpleasant enough. I also noticed, like many reviewing customers, that everything is served in plastic crockery - not in line with prices practiced, but above all not a very responsible and sustainable system I...

The restaurant makes a good impression at first glance. But not so good at second and third and fourth etc. First the good: The food looks good and tastes good too. The waiters are friendly and know what they are doing. Now for the not so good things: The menu is very small and at the prices (€25 for a fish plate without a side dish (costs another €6) you shouldn't have to eat from a paper plate. The dish does come on a porcelain plate, but this is only the serving plate. The bread served is so dry that you can't eat it without a drink (probably intentional so that you drink more). The coffee afterwards is served in a paper cup with a plastic spoon. The toilets should be renovated and a toilet seat would also be great. It's a shame that they take advantage of being the only restaurant on the beach and that as a guest you have no choice but to accept...

3.8 rating is probably about there. They are the only restaurant fronting the beach so they can pretty much charge and sell whatever they like. The restaurant was full for the month of May and the bar attached was having great business.

The food was excellent though the prawns were not that fresh. The pasta vongole was my favourite and the grilled fish done very well.

All in all you are paying for paper plates and plastic cups which should not be the case.

The staff could be more enthusiastic with Asians as you can see the difference in...

Forse.
