Hike took about 1 hour 30 minutes with stopping for views. There is steps most of the way up to the Hermitage and a path after that. The summit is a bit off the path. The entrance is a bit hard to find - it is located on a side road off of Via Terravecchia (it’s the one closest to the mountain without name on Google Maps). Overall great afternoon hike with amazing views.

Nice views. Path at the very top (above the ruin) is a bit sketchy. Until there it is wide and comfortable. A nice hike for an afternoon. There are water fountains but if water level is low, they don't work, so make sure to bring enough water in summer.

Arrivare in cima e godere di splendido Panorama. Una vista stupenda oltretutto viene appagata dal paese di Caltavuturo ai piedi della Rocca di Sciara. Dalla cima si riesce, in una giornata limpida, a vedere il mare con la banchina portuale di Termini Imerese. Il resti di un monastero situati in cima ti fanno tornare indietro nella storia nei sacrifici...
