Cathè — Restaurant in Caltavuturo

Great place for having coffee, drinks or food, since there's always playing music and a lot of people are coming to this area in the evening. The food was delicious and the people working here were really really nice! On the first day I had an awesome burger, which was served with fries and chicken nuggets, which I can definitely recommend! Next time we came here, we were too early (pizza and burgers are served starting at 7:00 pm) so we only ordered some drinks, but they gave us chips and a sandwich for free. Really...

We found this restaurant while visiting the town of my ancestors. After spending a few days on the coast and not eating that impressive of food, we were pleasantly surprised with Cathè. Rescue in time of need! Normally Tuesday is a day of rest in the city and restaurants are closed. The chef from Cathé saw us looking for a restaurant in town, approached us and offered to open his restaurant spontaneously. We were overjoyed that we still got such great food. Traditional pasta, a semifredo, café and aperitif ... everything super tasty and fresh. We were completely satisfied. Many thanks to the nice people from Caltavuturo!

Rettung in der Not! Normalerweise ist Dienstag Ruhetag in der Stadt und Restaurants haben geschlossen. Der Koch vom Cathé sah wie wir in der Stadt ein Restaurant suchten, er sprach uns an und bot uns an sein Restaurant spontan zu öffnen. Wir waren überglücklich, dass wir noch so tolles Essen bekommen haben. Traditionelle Pasta, ein Semifredo, Café und Apérol ... alles super lecker und frisch. Wir waren vollends zufrieden.
