Il lago della Gherardesca è un ottimo posto dove fare birdwatching o scattare foto. In genere è poco frequentato quindi va bene anche per camminare in pace e rilassarsi. Schlimm, den See erreicht man nicht. Es müffelt, ich habe mir bei meinen Opel Astra eine Felge zerkratzt weil mich Maps über irgendwelche Feldwege dort hin lotzen wollte. Am besten ihr bleibt so lange wie möglich auf der Hauptstraße und biegt dann erst zum See ab.
