We, a group of 19 people from US and Sweden, visited Pqlin on June 27th 2024.
For us this was one of the highlights we did together as a group in Piemonte. The combination of warmth, attention to our group, the knowledge we received from Diego and Margherita and their willingness to share it all made us fully enjoy our time. We visited the cellar, walked around the vinyard, to the Ciabot, and then last, a wonderful exerience. Tasting of great wines with excellent food pairing was amazing. We who don't eat meat, really enjoyed the vegeterian alternative. A visit at a vinyard couldn't be any more special than this. We wholeheartily recommend a visit Pqlin winery.
Thank you Margherita and Diego for a wonderful visit.
Thank you to you Diego for the patience with me before our visit. And Margherita for the best hazelnutcake ever with with the sweet wine.
I hope I can come and visit...
Read moreWe had an amazing time at Pqlin. Diego and Margherita were very welcoming and helpful despite us only calling a couple hours in advance and them having work to do. Their place is very nice and they were happy to show us around and answer all of our questions about their wines. Diego speaks English which was very helpful for us. The wine tasting was great and came accompanied by a variety of things including regional cheeses, homemade salamis and quiches. Their prices for the tasting and the wines were more than fair, even for us as students. The Passì (their dessert wine) is not included in their 4 wine tasting but 100% worth trying as well, it’s very good.
All in all, we had the best experience at Pqlin and would definitely recommend Diego’s and Margherita’s place to anyone looking to do a tasting or to buy some excellent...
Read moreA spontaneous visit but we highly recommend! The owners are really friendly and showed us the property and explained there wine making proces. The tasting was really good and accompanied by great cheeses and salumi. The dessert wine (Passi) is something special, really light for a sweet wine but perfect for both a dessert and cheeses. Loved it. Also a great fan of the Roero Aneis, fruity and fresh and really approachable. The Roero is a wine made with the Nebbiolo grape and perfect for both an apperativo, a light dish or just to enjoy whenever you like. Not too complex but rich enough to enjoy its heritage. Would highly...
