Ostu Di Djun — Restaurant in Castagnito

Best restaurant we went to during our 2-week roadtrip in northern Italy. Wauw. Not only the food is amazing, the people are sooo friendly I was seriously moved by it. The owner is so generous and it’s been a while to see such nice people. Truly amazing. For people that go here for the first time: don’t expect a menu, just let it all happen and go with the flow. They ask ofc for allergies etc and you can choose between some options but just enjoy the atmosphere, the food and the people. I wish I could give more than 5 stars....

Not only is the food magnificent but add the atmosphere and the absolutely charming service and you have an amazing experience. You have no choice except for primi and secondi but who cares. It is far less stressful than trying to work out a menu! Left here with big smiles helped along by the bottle of grappa left with us at the end of the meal! We kive eight hours drive away but will definitely be making...

Very nice atmosphere with the main host always ready to give a personal touch making your experience happy. Good food prepared like hold traditional way, with some local dishes to highlight the all service. Very different way to serving wines.....only big bottle ( magnum 1,5lt) are served and they keeping rotating different bottles between table for every course . Definitely recommend to visit if...
