Clean Beach, But Seriously Overpriced

The beach itself is clean and well-maintained, which is definitely a positive. However, the pricing system makes little sense and feels like a rip-off.

The cost for an umbrella is €6, which is fair on its own. But then they add a €5 service fee per person – and here's the absurd part: even if you come as a couple, they charge €5 per person, yet the "service" is the same umbrella. So essentially, you end up paying €16 for one umbrella, and it's not like you're getting any additional service for that second fee.

To put it in perspective, in Taormina – with stunning views and a much more premium location – we paid just €10 per person for a sunbed and umbrella, with better overall value.

Overpriced, uninterested and rude staff. Crowded, packed in like sardines. Other beach users inconsiderate and generally we felt uncomfortable and that our belongings weren’t safe. Didn’t even bother with the bar as the queues were so long. Terrible music blasting out and incessant ‘games’ being played and shouted about constantly with the megaphone. Non lascio mai recensioni negative ma questa volta mi sembra meritatissima. È la seconda volta che veniamo: lido carino, bella animazione, molto familiare. Ma arriviamo nella zona ristorazione per il pranzo e ordiniamo cotoletta e patatine. Nel piatto consegnatomi dal ragazzino c’erano davvero quattro patatine contate, mentre negli altri piatti erano parecchio abbondanti e, davvero, la differenza era molta. (Anche la volta precedente mi avevano fatto una porzione abbondante). Così, decido di chiedere CORTESEMENTE se potesse aggiungere altre patatine. Rifiutandosi inizialmente, accoglie la mia richiesta dicendo in maniera del tutto scontrosa “VABBÈ RAMMI U PIATTU”. Prima di questo episodio ci eravamo dette di ritornare ma, chiaramente, seconda e ultima volta che verrò qui. Non dovreste mettere personale incompetente che non sa lavorare con il pubblico perché oggi avete perso due clienti che, non solo vengono nel vostro lido, ma che ogni volta lasciano soldi anche al bar. Chiaramente farò cattiva pubblicità a chiunque....
