Benedictine Monastery — Attraction in Florence

Beautiful place to stay with a wonderful view of the hills surrounding Florence. I almost didn't want to publish a review to maintain this place a little secret. In fact the only negative I could think of was a group of noisy American tourists who sometimes were loud after the official "quiet" hours (after 10:30 p.m.). But even that wasn't such a big deal. I only have good words for this historic monastery and the nuns. We stayed here for a couple of days. The backdrop of Tuscany behind the monastery as well as the olive grove is something magical, especially upon waking up. The food sizes were big enough that we could not finish all of them. I have loved every second of my stay in the monastery :) i have only word of praise for how welcome i felt and the beautiful nature and ambient. It is well connected, although it is not in the center. There is a kitchen available for cooking and the room had its own bathroom.
