A great place for kids and adults. The price is worthy! 22 euros for 2 adults (Mom and Dad) and one kid 6-14 y.o. so 6€ for kids and 8€ for adults. This place offers alot of historical stuff and a great history. It has a basement, which had old guns and some newer guns, aswell as knives and grenades, old canisters and old helmets. The ground floor has orders, suits and medalls. The top floor has old grenades aswell, original newspapers from world war and newer/older. The top floor also has old generals suits and old radios, antennas and other stuff used while a war. After visiting all the floors, we visited "the garden" which was basically a garden with faces of some generals, old bikes and two military vehicles, and when there is a kid that is younger so around 6-14y, then they let the kid go inside, which i really enjoy. The man that was telling us the story of the things inside the garden, was very interesting and fun. I like him alot. My opinion, it was the best museums i have ever been in. I really...
Read moreA fantastic museum with a very large amount of historical items ranging from pre-WWI to today. It also included things from the police, firefighters and different units and branches in the military from all across the world, particularly from Italy of course. The director of the museum was a sergeant in the Italian army and was a very kind man. We came in early just when it opened and he gave us a special tour where we got to go inside the tank (an M60 Patton), an APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier), an anti aircraft gun (I can't remember its name) and go thru a small self made WW1 style trench. We got to play army a bit, move the anti aircraft gun's gun around, run thru the trench and hold a small replica gun whilst wearing helmets. This made the experience so much better than any regular museum could have. P.S. The area with the vehicles is open to everyone who goes, we might have gotten something special because we came in really early. P.P.S the prices are very good so anyone could go...
Read moreGreat museum ! The first building was filled to the brim with military artefacts and written explanations (many military uniforms too), it was extremely interesting for a military nerd like myself. I was already very positively surprised by the amount of stuff that was exposed but then a tour guide showed us to another building with military vehicles. This was the best part, not only it was great seeing these vehicle up close (the highlights for me were the m48 tank, the m113 personnel carrier and the aw109 helicopter) but the tour guide was amazing too, he had lots of info to share, was passionate about his stuff and made us climb into these various vehicles (and for info, he spoke French too). This is the first time I write a google review but after visiting the jesolo military museum, I knew I had to share the great...
