Cala Pisana — Attraction in Lampedusa e Linosa

Spectacular little gem in Cala Pisana! Great location right on the waterfront of the Mediterranean. I slept like a baby every single night! The room and the B&B were immaculately clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The place has a unique personality that you can easily fell in love with it! It's a great spot for families, friends and people travelling solo. ||Paola and Melo were really excellent hosts, it took me about two minutes to feel like at home. Bit difficult to explain but so easy to experience it I believe I found the real soul of Lampedusa here: a magic peaceful place. I will always be grateful to Paola & Melo as they shared their stories unconditionally and they were able to tell me everything I wanted to know about the island! Also the place is full of books and I came back with great recommendations too!||For those who require practical info, Paola & Melo will do their best to make your staying so easy, you will get great advices on the places to visit, food to taste and all the rest. Paola and Melo were excellent hosts and very accommodating, especially since we don't speak much Italian other than a few words. Paola helped us book a boat trip, rent a quad and learn more about the Island (ask her for the Lampedusa book in English). Her breakfasts always had fresh fruit, cereal, breads/pastries/homemade cakes, yoghurts, jams, butter, juice/water/tea/coffees. Each room has two separate entrances (one to the garden and one to the common courtyard/breakfast area). There is a sundeck/patio with loungers and a large umbrella...and it leads just down to the beach in one step. Absolutely beautiful view, but the only downside is that while we were there the tides and winds brought all kinds of gunk (trash, seaweed, etc.) onto the shores and beach...so we didn't get to use that beach/swim while there. On our last day they had cleaned it up (beach folks, not the B&B) and visitors were returning to it. It's about a 15 minute walk into town. Paola will pick-up and drop-off from the airport for free. Definitely recommend staying here. Thanks so much for everything...

È paradisiaca. Ci siamo andati perché nell'altra parte dell isola. C'è il vento scirocco( tipo alla guitgia, e all'isola dei conigli), quindi il mare era agitato. Mentre qui era riparato e protetto, quindi abbiamo passato una giornata molto tranquilla. La spiaggia è di sabbia, ci sono lettini a pagamento, sia per la giornata intera, che per metà, che per 3 ore. Poi c'è lo spazio anche per chi l'ombrellone se lo porta da casa, e si sdraia sulla sabbia Ingresso in acqua è costituito da massi, lisci non taglienti e fastidiosi, in alcuni punti, sono assenti e quindi c'è sabbia sul fondale, che vista da fuori crea come una specie di corridoio. comodo sia con le scarpette che senza. Se si utilizza la maschera si possono ammirare tanti pesci colorati, ricci di mare. Il mare rimane basso per una 20-30 m dalla riva circa. Non è pericoloso. Per arrivare qui La strada è asfaltata e c'è un ampio parcheggio, si trova alle spalle dell aeroporto. All'ingresso della spiaggia c'è un bar, dove hanno di tutto, si può anche pranzare. Con prezzi abbordabili. Il panorama è mozzafiato. La spiaggia è capiente, mah non enorme, tutti vogliono stare in prima fila. Ho notato che era affollata un poco la mattina, ed il pomeriggio dopo le 15. Se si prosegue oltre la spiaggia c'è una specie di piccolo porto, utilizzato da un altra struttura per ombrelloni, e lettini, attrezzato di bar-ristorante, e per chi vuole attrezzatura per sportivi acquatiche. Anche qui chi vuole può liberamente sdraiarsi a terra sul cemento, si posso fare dei tuffi, l'acqua qui è decisamente più alta. Da provare,...
