Spiaggia Porto Taverna is a classic Sardinian tourist beach, but what sets it apart is the stunning view of the island-mountain rising from the sea. We stayed for a couple of hours and enjoyed the defined swimming area, though note it’s somewhat restricted due to nearby smaller boats anchoring.
It’s a popular spot, so crowds can build up quickly – best to come early if you want a quieter experience. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, making it a good option for a lunch break or mid-day escape from the sun.
