Our experience with San Lorenzo began while dining at Miky in Monterosso, Italy. Since we were new to the Brunello wines, we picked San Lorenzo Brunello from a long list of Brunellos at Miky, simply because of the name "Lorenzo" (my name in Italian). It was our first experience with San Lorenzo and we really loved it. A few days later, while driving around Montalcino, we saw the "San Lorenzo" sign on a tree... we knew we had to visit, so we scheduled a tasting a few days later. We met Luciano and toured his vineyard and winemaking operation before sitting down to an intimate tasting. Luciano makes wonderful wine and he's a proud yet humble and beautiful soul. We shipped some home and have subsequently re-ordered from him. We happily continue to share San Lorenzo with our family and friends and everyone loves it!
