The price of this course would absolutely be worth it given the location and scenery except the conditions are terrible. I would say only about 50 percent of the grass on the greens is alive. I don't know if they are fighting a disease or pests but you are basically putting on dirt. The fairways had a good amount of ground under repair (or should be under repair). For the price (about 200$ American) I was expecting conditions equivalent to a TPC course. I've played courses for 40$ in much superior condition. The only reason this is not a 1 star review is the clubhouse is just classic charm and the staff is fantastic. I have nothing but praise for everyone working there aside from the groundskeeper. The golf course had charm and seems to be well designed. The view from the first tee box is stunning. And hole 18 is great, too. The 3 stars comes with the below average conditions (played July 2022) and rental clubs being horrible. If I played my own clubs, I may have thought differently, but paying €220 to get a set of pings that looked older than me was disappointing. I hope others have a better experience.
