The castle was beautiful, the tour was great and the wine tasting would've been amazing - but it wasn't. The group was compromised of English and Italian speakers and while everyone was respectful and quiet during the Italian explanation during the wine tasting, during the English parts you could not understand a single word. The Italian group during the wine tasting was so loud, I might have well not booked the wine tasting at all. I asked the hostess to switch the groups and do the English explanation first - my polite request immediately denied, because supposedly the Italian audience was bigger, but was in fact just more important to them. I didn't understand a single thing that was said during the wine tasting. Perhaps they should have two separate groups - Italian and English - then the whole experience would've...

It really is a wonderful and beautiful place, very scenic. However I don’t recommend booking a tour. The guide was difficult to understand in English, she constantly switches in between English and Italian to explain everything to both English and Italian speakers. Understandable, but it just kills the flow of it and makes it somewhat unpleasant. I really wanted to see all of it but with a rather big group of 25-30 people it was hard to understand what was being said and to see everything.
