Gorgeous park to do for a short hike or a high intensity run. If you climb up to the two hills, you’ll get a 2.5km lap. It can become a 6 km run if you run down to the parking lot and around the main road. There is a run track if you prefer to run on flat. Also biking or mountain biking is doable. One of the best parts of this location is the view! There is a 360 view of the Etna and the valley all the way to Catania and the beach down to Syracuse. Picnic are also allowed. Posto bellissimo peccato per 3 grandi problemi: 1 i bagni sempre fuori uso e quando funzionano essendo pochi c’è una fila immensa, code chilometriche, per non parlare dei cattivi odori ma ciò è provocato dall’inciviltà e il rispetto del luogo che hanno le persone; 2 i tavoli che sono sempre sempre gli stessi, addirittura di meno dato che alcuni vandali hanno distrutto alcuni dei pochi tavoli che la pineta offre in uno spazio che potrebbe ospitare altri 500 tavoli come minimo ; 3 il percorso nella natura è diventato impraticabile, completamente distrutto e si rischia di ferirsi come nel mio caso nel tentativo di percorrerlo; evito di nominare i parcheggi perché ancora non mi è capitato di non trovare posto però so che c’è sempre molta gente che purtroppo arriva e non trovando posto per l’auto, senza parlare dei tavoli e dei focolai si trova costretta a cambiare destinazione, ma SOLO perché parto presto; si prega il gestore di tale pineta di osservare questi grandi problemi, di non intascarsi solamente i soldi che vi diamo tra parcheggio INCUSTODITO e biglietto d’ingresso per non parlare dei prezzi del bar ma di inverstirli in un’attività che sta andando sempre più verso il...
