My recent rafting adventure with Gaia Rafting at Stazione di Serravalle di Norcia was an absolute blast! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of incredible.
The location itself is breathtaking. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, the Stazione di Serravalle di Norcia area provides the perfect backdrop for a thrilling outdoor activity like rafting. The river is pristine, and the guides from Gaia Rafting ensured our safety while maintaining a fun and adventurous atmosphere.
The staff at Gaia Rafting were exceptional. Friendly, experienced, and passionate about what they do, they made the entire experience enjoyable and memorable. They provided clear instructions, safety guidelines, and made sure everyone felt comfortable before hitting the water.
The equipment provided was top-notch. The rafts were well-maintained, and we were provided with all the necessary gear to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. The guides also took the time to explain how to maneuver the raft and work as a team.
The rafting itself was an adrenaline rush like no other. The river had a mix of rapids and calmer stretches, providing a perfect balance between excitement and relaxation. The guides navigated us skillfully through the challenging parts, adding to the thrill of the adventure.
What truly stood out was the personalized attention we received. The guides were knowledgeable about the area, sharing interesting facts about the surrounding landscape and its history. They also captured some fantastic photos during the trip, which were available for purchase afterward.

Read moreVery nice experience. Easy to book. The surroundings are very beautiful and the river you go through is a small piece of nature paradise. The water is cold but very clear and nice to swim in. Guide (Calvin) was really nice and thorough in his briefing. Also very patient towards the kids. The first part is more calm. The second part has more rapids. At this moment (August 2025) You have to walk between part one and two for about twenty minutes because the water is too low. So keep this in mind if you don’t walk too well. The second part was supposed to be an hour but was not even half an hour so that was disappointing but that’s probably because of the low water. Photo’s are made on an dated camera, and you get low resolution photos? (Why not use a GoPro like everyone else?) and you get an USB stick with everyone of your groups photos for 19€. Bit strange to pay for photos with complete strangers on it. But all in all a very...
Read moreMy family and I went rafting last week and it was an amazing experience! Great landscape, fun day out. The instructors were very friendly, helpful and gave clear instructions. Our instructor was Luca and I think he was the best instructor, he even allowed me to swim in the water and fall in!!! Levels 1 and 2 are great fun, love the short rapids and the mini waterfall we went down. Refreshing water in the river and you can get photos and videos. If you want you can take a dip into the water and let the current take you to your raft. Good quality equipment. They will provide wetsuits and safety equipment, you just have to bring your swimming costume, full change of clothes, towels and an extra T-shirt. It has been amazing. I would definitely recommend for all ages. Love it!
