Visited in August 2023. It’s not a busy site, so we got a private tour of the cave. The cave itself is extremely interesting from both a historical and geological perspective. It is also surprisingly big, with many parts to it. Our “tour guide", whose name I sadly cannot remember, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She recommended some excellent sites in the nearby area (Nuraghe Santu Antine and the Domus de Janas of Sant'Andrea Priu), as well as a top class restaurant in the town (La Torre – she even pointed us to the local speciality of pane a fittas). Read moreBeautiful cave, worth to visit it! It takes around 30 minutes to visit it, there is a kind lady who leads the private tours in the cave. That is the only option to visit it. It costs 3 euro per person. There are two chambers available to be visited, the third one is wet/not safe and it is closed. The cave itself has an awesome atmoshere and the tourist guide is very nicely explains the history and the interesting facts about the cave.
