So we came to Italy for the architecture, art, culture, history and food and we ended up at Padovaland. And it was great. Some of the previous reviews are not complimentary but perhaps the park has been updated recently because we certainly had a brilliant time. It’s a place for all the family containing every kind of slide and flume imaginable plus a bouncy inflated watery trampoline and a big pool with a wave machine. Unlike many water parks this one doesn’t feel as if it’s several accidents waiting to happen. It feels safe and reasonably well run. Most of the slides have a traffic light system at the top that is supposed to go green when it’s safe to go down. In fact almost none of them were working when we were there. However, in most cases it’s possible to see the bottom of the slide if you crane your neck; so you can usually tell if it’s safe. Some of the slides are horribly high so there’s a huge amount of walking involved, up increasingly high walkways and stairways. But somehow it doesn’t feel like a chore to walk up endless stairs for a few seconds of sliding, because it’s such great fun. It’s very reasonably priced: we paid 40 Euro for the day for two adults and child; which is the reduced Friday rate. The whole place, including the toilets; is reasonably clean. There are numerous places to sit and picnic under shady roofs, which is what we did. If you want to sit in the sunchairs and have an umbrella (rather than in the picnic area) you have to pay extra for the umbrella. There are also snack bars, which we didn’t use so I...

Read morecozy place, nice and I really enjoyed it. One thing is about the area is the availability of stuff, Most of the time I have been to aquaparks, the most problem is long lines and not having chance to explore the area, but this time here, I really could try whatever I like faster than normal time compared to other places. there are two resultants, (as I discovered), prices are normal and fast, clean. I liked the design of main pool, it was cozy and cute (if you like a waterfall shower) and facilities are good and safe.
finally there is good discount on weekdays but weekend is also nice...
