Wonderful view over the lake towards the mountains, where you can just make out the face of the legendary weeping goddess to the west, especially as the sun sets. Take a gentle stroll along the lakeside promenade, plenty of waterfowl to observe and no hills or steps to negotiate. Take a drink and food at one of the cafe/restaurants, all reasonably priced and good quality. Small beaches for families to enjoy a dip in the lake from. Dog friendly all along, but make sure you clean up...

Cozy place, nice terrace with great lakeside view. Very good desserts (tartufo nero & panna cotta), good housewine , our main courses rather average: lasagna not seasoned enough, fishplatter too dry. Good service, prices fair.

Update: went there for the second time: both pizza's were delicious, desserts as good as the first time, good espresso. Excellent service and limoncello on the house - I would highly recommend...
