Careful of Robbery!!!

Very nice beach with free parking. I would have given it 5 stars but I got robbed here. I mistakenly left my bag pack in the back seat of a rental car under the seat and locked my car (double checked). In it, I had my Bose headphones and Nintendo switch, some cash, clothes and passport. When I went back, I found out that my bag pack was opened, my cigarettes were gone and so was all my gadgets and cash (about 200 euros) were gone from a LOCKED SUV!! . When i called the cops, they said no English and hung up on me. This was a rental car. When I read the other reviews I found out that there is gang targeting on rental cars. If you are a tourist with rental car please be very very careful. They use devices to unlock the car. This was my last day in Italy and it left me with a sour ending! Don’t think I will ever go...

!!!BEWARE - THIEVES in operation in the area!!! Me and my wife were on a road trip when we decided to make a stop for a quick dip. We were driving a Fiat 500x which was a rental and left jewelry and other valuable items in the car. We were gone for less than 60mins and by the time we were back, my watch and wedding ring WERE GONE WITH NO SIGN OF A BREAK-IN. Also, the place was packed, with choppy waters, low visibility and lots of plastic waste cigarette ends around it. We visited in early August. All in all we had a poor experience in this area and would not recommend it to fellow...

Very cool inlet that is clearly carved out by a seasonal river that flows into the sea. Ingress points into the water (e.g., deep enough to jump in) or ladders to support egress would make this 5-star. Bonus points for the ample parking…but sadly like many places in Puglia there is far too much trash and really poor maintenance from the Comune (Town Hall).
