This was hands down the best thing we did during our whole trip to Italy. Sabrina's cooking class was educational, funny, engaging, and (most importantly) delicious. Her whole family showed hospitality unlike anything we experienced anywhere else in Europe. She broke down the process in a way that even novice chefs could replicate and the end result was unbelievably delicious.
She started by giving us a tour of her magnificent garden before sharing delicious bruschetta made with ingredients that she grew herself. We all shared wine from her family vineyard (trust me, the wine kept flowing) before starting the cooking class. We talked through making ravioli from scratch and how to make a delicious lemon almond cake. We then sat to exchange stories and conversation while Sabrina's whole family came out to serve us more wine. The location also has a breathtaking view of nearby mountains and open spaces. Once the ravioli was finished we enjoyed lunch and desert together.
Most important for me was their incredible generosity and consideration with my wife's allergies. On the site where we booked the class, we mentioned that my wife is deathly alergis to tree nuts. The booking website neglected to pass this information along so I mentioned it to Sabrina. Immediately she sent her husband to the store to purchase ice cream for her. We both insisted that it was unnecessary, as it was the booking sites fault for not communicating. Sure enough at meal time, Sabrina's husband showed up with ice cream for my wife to make sure she had something safe to eat.
We have already made plans to start making our own pasta at home because this made it feel so easy. I would recommend this experience to everyone visiting Italy at any price. I would have gladly paid double the entry price to...
Read moreI recently attended Sabrina’s cooking class in her garden, and it was an experience! From start to finish, the class was both educational and enjoyable.
We started by making delicious ravioli from scratch. Sabrina was patient and provided clear, step-by-step guidance, making sure everyone was able to follow along. The process of making the pasta dough and shaping the ravioli was so much fun and surprisingly easy.
While the dough rested, she showed us how to make one of their favorite almond cakes.
At the end of the class, we all enjoyed a wonderful meal together. This cooking class has been a highlight of our trip to Italy, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone looking to learn authentic Italian cooking in a fun and relaxed...
Read moreA fantastic italian cooking experience with Sabrina ! this was the highlight of the day and also of our holidays. Sabrina was a marvelous host for the cooking class and the meal. We felt like at home with the visit of the vegetable and fruits garden , the antipasti from garden and the warm welcome. She is a clever lady with talent for transmission and obviously passionate by her cooking. The meal then was joyful, together with her husband Paulo who joined and offered some nice home made limoncello and walnut liquor. We felt received as friends and the great sensation of knowing these people since long. Sabrina, thank upu so much for this wonderful and authentic gustative and friendship moment ❤️ I hope to see you soon when you visit...
