First of all, I would like to talk about the positive things: The park offers a few different shows which are all nice to watch. The possibility to take photos with the animals is certainly a cute idea for the kids. However, the question arises whether it is good to sell the animals for 25€ per photo (?). The dolphin show is of course the highlight of the park. It is also really cute and wonderful. However, at Oltre Mare, special attention is paid to pollution. There are pools filled with water and dirt that can be found in the sea, as well as animals that have been recreated from the garbage that floats in the sea. The sad and impossible part of the whole thing is the following: While down on sustainable and environmentalists is pretended, above the dolphins are kept in captivity. Now, I do not know of course whether the dolphins, since they were small, live there - then again they would probably have no chance of survival in nature and thus it is hardly animal cruelty. HOWEVER, the animals are still tortured. In the lagoon. The children step over the barriers, bang against the glass and provoke the dolphins. With sounds, noise and their hands they stress the dolphins, which according to the animal protection law falls under animal cruelty. And the parents do nothing about it, they even join in.

I am aware that there are probably too few employees to post guards in the lagoon, but it cannot be that the animals have to suffer from the inconsiderate behavior...

I would've given five stars if the park would've been as well-maintained as we remembered 4 years ago and the years before. I do understand that the COVID years with all those restrictions must've been hard for a park with staff to pay and animals to feed, but the change is very visible: a great deal of aquariums and animals are no longer there.

The art show replacing the showcases and water-tanks focusing on earth pollution is not very well-explained. Especially not for smaller kids. The animatronics of the dinosaurs no longer work, and the return ticket costs extra. (When talking tickets: Why does a kid above 1,40m have to pay an adult fee no matter the age?)

However: We still love the park, the very friendly long-term staff and of course I meravigliosi delfini!!!

Things that could/ should be tackled: Entry fees: kids tickets instead of shady height restrictions. serve better food! (Bastoncini di pesce should be filet at this price) work on your expositions also in terms of infotainment (more info but also accessible for...

Ascensori a tutti i piani. Personale sorridente, gentile e preparato.

Very nice park for families and kids. The main attraction of the park is the show with Dolphins, but there are also shows with Birds of Pray, Parrots, etc. The park is focused on nature, ecosystems, and interaction with animals. For instance, there is a path that take you to see farm animals, and along the path is possible to learn more about the animals and have interaction with them, such as riding a horse, feeding chickens, etc. The central part of the park hosts the Dolphins, and there you can also learn quite a lot about marine ecosystems, bug mammals, etc. In the park, there are a lot of stores selling foods, ice creams, and other interesting sweet things for kids. Overall is a quite a good park for families, and I suggest having lunch in one of the many internal restaurants, and spending at least one afternoon in the park.

Got the bus to Oltremare. Was easy to get to as the 58 went straight to the park. Lots to do, plenty of animals and shows to go to. Food was good, big slice of pizza for around €4. Coming from Riccione, you can walk. We walked back as the Sunday bus times were limited. A few tracks without pavements though, so be aware with small children. Overall, fantastic day - spent around 4.5 hours there as it was rather quiet. Would have been longer if busier. The only negatives that we found was that there was hardly any English signs. Nearly all of the educational billboards, posters and walls were in Italian. I would have hoped for a small translation below. Also, it seemed that the Australia area was open, but it was not. Great time overall, definitely would recommend!!
