Well...I was a bit tempted to leave just a 1 star review only to keep this as a kind of secret place and trying controlling possible overcrowding...but I promised to be honest in my reviews so... This is literally my favourite spot in San vito lo capo. It's funny because the first time I have been here I was very sceptical seeing all the trash around the tiny dusty street and the old tonnara building rumbling down...but then you reach the rocky beach and WOW. That's was (and still is) absolutely amazing. You must have proper swimming shoes to come here. Remember it. It's all rocks and close to the sea is very slippery. But it's a magnificent angle of pure nature. Full of fish in the water with lots of things to see for any sea lover. The rocks hide lots of small crabs and tiny fish. With my kids we spent hours looking for them. It's literally a joyful, beautiful place. Please remember to keep it as it is and help...
Read moreToday - especially during sunrise-, there were remarkably many fish. At least three schools of different smaller kinds. Yet, thousands of the very small ones and hundreds of the largest, about 12-15 inch in length. I could not really concentrate on my freediving technique, because I was totally caught up watching the fish. So mind blowing. So beautiful. I can imagine, that this only is possible to see after the masses of tourists are gone. I hope, everybody reading this post really thinks twice before coming here and disturbing the pure nature more than necessary. I try to do my best and will post pictures...
