The cable car experience offers breathtaking views and a memorable journey.

The initial segment of the cable car is a standing section, making a brief stop at a restaurant midway for refreshments. This establishment holds a monopoly at this location, resulting in potentially higher prices compared to other options.

The second section of the cable cart provides seating and transports passengers to the summit, where a restaurant and a hotel with an open-to-all dining option are situated. Once again, the pricing tends to be slightly elevated.

Upon reaching the summit, we encountered a cloudy environment with limited visibility and a somewhat chilly temperature. Fortunately, the clouds dissipated swiftly, revealing a magnificent panoramic view of Lake Garda and the majestic mountains.

Although we did not embark on a hiking expedition along the mountain trails, there were several available options. We ventured a short distance up the mountain, encountering slippery conditions due to loose dirt and stones that occasionally gave way beneath our feet.

Wildlife sightings were limited, primarily consisting of numerous cows and a solitary marmot spotted from a considerable distance. The attached photograph was captured using a 50x zoom lens.

Price wise: Cablecart: €85 (euros). = 4 persons and a small dog. Restaurant: €23,5 (euros). = 4 soft drinks and 4 ice-creams

Dogs require muzzles, but we did not see any other dogs wearing one, and our dog is quite small and very calm, never barks, and never snaps or bites. A lot of big dogs passed without muzzles no problem they behaved nicely, but a tiny Chihuahua-sized dog snapped at our dog, also without a muzzle. Fantastisches Ausflugsziel, diese Gondelbahnanlage befindet sich im verträumten Bergörtchen Prada oberhalb der Ostseite des Gardasees. Die Auffahrt dorthin ist auf Grund der Umgebung und serpentinartigen Strecke schon ein Erlebnis.

Es gibt genügend Parkplätze, Zugang zu Kasse u. Bahnanlage sind bedingt Rollstuhlgerecht. (Parkplatz z.B. ist geschottert).

Preise sind absolut im Rahmen, Erwachsene zahlen 20€ für hin- u. Zurück bis zum höchstenPunkt. Man kann auch nur Auffahrt buchen und die Strecke bergab laufen. Achtung, der Weg abwärts ist lang u. teilweise extrem steinig, gutes u. geeignetes Schuhmaterial unbedingt erforderlich!!!

Gondelfahrt: Die Strecke zum höchsten Punkt ist in zwei Abschnitte geteilt und kostet je nach Wahl unterschiedlich. Der 1. Abschnitt wird mit eine Steh-Gondel befahren. Dabei können max 2 Personen hintereinander in einer Gittergondel fahren. Beim hochfahren habe ich auch Menschen mit Hunden im Arm oder sitzende Personen gesehen. Es ist oben relativ kühl, ich empfehle die Mitnahme von entsprechender Bekleidung, z.B. Pulli, Windjacke, etc. Sonnenbrille ein Muss, wenn die Sonne in Italien scheint.

Am 1. Kontrollpunkt angekommen, muss man "rückwärts" aus der Gondel aussteigen, ist am einfachsten und ungefährlichsten. Der nächste Abschnitt wird mit einer Sitzgondel für max 2 Personen nebeneinander befahren. Am höchsten Punkt angekommen erstreckt sich dem Betrachter ein unglaublicher und naturgewaltiger Anblick auf den fast gesamten Gardasee sowie das umgebende Gebirge, absoluter Wow-Effekt.

Oben gibt es eine Bergstation die Snacks u. Getränke anbietet. Wer gut zu Fuß ist kann nochmals eine Teilstrecke hochlaufen zu einem weiteren Aussichtspunkt. Diesen konnte ich leider auf Grund von Knieweh und fehlender Jacke (weil kalt) nicht bestreiten. Ein Grund mehr irgendwann nochmal herzukommen.

Die Abfahrt ins Tal hat ebenfalls beeindruckt, gigantischer Ausblick, toll.

What an amazing find. The first stage are small lobster pots for 2 and the staff could not be more helpful in getting you in and out. The view is just stunning. The second stage is a 2 person chairlift and again the staff are incredible helping on and off. Once at the top go to the cafe and have a proper Italian hot chocolate.
